EYC Carpentry & Projects

EYC Carpentry & Projects is a carpentry business in Sydney seeking to differentiate itself in a competitive market by building a unique brand. They desired a contemporary and sleek design, representing construction without being overly clichéd like others in the industry. They also aimed to showcase their innovation and expertise.

The outcome was a brand identity emphasising the technical aspects and craftsmanship of the business. Drawing inspiration from the geometric nature of construction plans, I designed a logo using three blocks to symbolise both the E in EYC and the technical craftsmanship of carpentry. This concept also influenced a flexible design system where the blocks can be rearranged to suit various layouts.
